Alcohol and DroomSap
We regularly receive questions about DroomSap, especially regarding the alcohol it contains. To provide clarity, this blog explains exactly how it works and how much alcohol you actually consume when using DroomSap as directed.

Hoeveelheid alcohol in DroomSap
DroomSap contains 3% alcohol. This is not added alcohol, but an extraction medium used for our herbal extracts. Alcohol helps to preserve and activate the herbal tinctures, allowing them to reach their full potential. The alcohol used in DroomSap is certified organic (grain-based)
Comparison between DroomSap and beer
To put it into perspective, we compare the alcohol content in DroomSap with that of Dutch beer and other beverages or supplements. Dutch pilsner typically contains 5% alcohol, while DroomSap contains 3%. These percentages refer to alcohol by volume (ABV), meaning “liters per liter” (you’ll often see “5% vol.” on beer labels).
What’s important to understand is that a single dose of DroomSap is just 2 ml—a very small amount. Of that, only 3 out of every 100 parts is alcohol.

It would take 250 daily doses of DroomSa, which equals one full 500 ml bottle, to consume the same amount of alcohol as in just one bottle of beer. And that 500 ml bottle lasts more than half a year.
The amount of alcohol in a single dose of DroomSap is less than 1 ml of beer, which equals about 20 drops. You’d have to use DroomSap daily for 200 days to consume the same amount of alcohol as in one glass of wine. So using DroomSap for more than half a year equals just one glass of wine.
Compared to herbal drops or vitamin drops, you consume 4 to 65 times less alcohol per day with DroomSap.
For example:
It would take 65 days of daily DroomSap use to equal the amount of alcohol in just one day’s worth of Echinaforce.
And just 4 days of DroomSap equals one day of Vitamin D3 drops in terms of alcohol intake.
The amount of alcohol in your blood after regular use of DroomSap is undetectable, even with the most sensitive equipment. It is so minimal that your body breaks it down almost instantly, making it harmless to your health.
Poor sleep, on the other hand, definitely is harmful.
